Josie Treviño

The City of Las Cruces announces the selection of Josie Treviño as the new Assistant Director of Finance.

Treviño brings more 17 years of accounting experience including 14 years of governmental accounting. She has been a dedicated member of the City of Las Cruces since 2012, serving in key roles across every major area of municipal finance — including Accounting Technician, Accountant, Financial Reporting Analyst, Budget Analyst, Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, and most recently, Comptroller.

She is committed to serving our community with integrity, accountability, and a strong dedication to public service. She is also a proud graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), bringing both academic strength and a deep appreciation for regional values. Beyond her professional responsibilities, Josie values time with her family and can often be found at the local softball fields, engaging with the community and supporting the activities that bring Las Cruces families together.
