The City of Las Cruces invites all Neighborhood Groups to register with the City. Registration is open to all residents, business owners, or their representative, property owners and/or tenants who reside, occupy, or maintain a property within the boundary of the Neighborhood Association.
Registration Process
Neighborhood Associations (Groups/Watches) shall register their Association including names, addresses, telephone numbers, of it officers including bylaws, and geographical boundaries with the City of Las Cruces.
The City Clerk shall maintain a centralized Neighborhood Association database that shall be accessible to all.
The City of Las Cruces has established and shall use an online registration form to register Neighborhood associations. The Neighborhood Association online registration process shall be used for clarification of the roles and responsibilities of the Neighborhood association so that a clear method for reporting is identified.
Representatives of record of a proposed or existing Neighborhood association shall make their requests through the Ask Las Cruces app, or Community Engagement liaison. They must identify if the request was enacted by the board, or a poll of the general membership was taken to reach said request.
