The City of Las Cruces is in the final year of the 2021-2025 Consolidated Plan. Action Plan 2025 is nearing completion now for all activities that are funded by the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
The new Consolidated Plan for 2026-2030 is starting soon with the selection of a qualified contractor. It will be approved by City Council in May of 2026.
This document will include the First Year Action Plan for Program Year 2026. This part details how the City plans to allocate it’s HUD grant funds from July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027. The document also includes the Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice.
The Action Plan 2025 will be presented to City Council in May, 2025.
