Books by Mail

Las Cruces Public Libraries offers Books by Mail service to residents living in outlying areas and to patrons who are homebound. Users must be registered with Books by Mail to receive this service.

Notary

Las Cruces Public Libraries no longer provides Notary services.

Photocopies

• 10 cents per page
• Coins or single dollar bills accepted
• Copies are black and white only

Printing & Scanning

• 10 cents per black and white page
• 50 cents per color page
• Coins or single dollar bills accepted
• Wireless printing is available at mobileprint.las-cruces.org.
• Document scanning is available in the computer lab free of charge.

Suggest a Purchase

Do you want to read a newly published book that the library does not own? You can make a suggestion by signing into your account online, then select ‘Send a Request’ from the menu on top. Make sure the Request Type is Recommend to Order.

Interlibrary Loan

If the library does not own a book or you need a specific article from a magazine or journal that the library does not own, you can request the items from Interlibrary Loan (ILL). Requested titles must have been published more than 12 months ago. Patrons are limited to five (5) ILL requests per month. If you have questions, please contact the Reference desk at 575-528-4005.

Make Interlibrary Loan requests by signing into your account online, then select ‘Send a Request’ from the menu on top. Make sure the Request Type is ILL Book Request.
