Moonlight is a quarterly program hosted by the Museums on Main Street. Adults 21+, with a valid ID, are invited to visit our Museums on Main Street while enjoying an adult beverage.

Location:
Enter at the Museum of Nature & Science Entrance on Main Street! You then have access to all three Main Street Museums–the Museum of Nature & Science, Museum of Art, and Branigan Cultural Center.
Adult Beverages and Food:
Adult beverages and food from food trucks can be purchased on the premises throughout the night. No outside food or drink is allowed.
Water and light snacks are provided for free inside the Museums.
Signature Drink: The Moonlight Margarita! A delicious blueberry margarita crafted specifically for Moonlight by Dry Point Distillers.

Friday, September 18, 2026 – “Fall Fun Fundraiser“
This Moonlight is different – it will be smaller, but still mighty, as it’s only in the Branigan Cultural Center, Museum of Art, and the Museum Courtyard this time around. Back by popular demand, Moonlight will be offering an annual alcohol tasting program presented by Dry Point Distillers! While Moonlight is completely free to enter for anyone with a 21+ Government Issued ID, there will be an optional $15 ticketed liquor tasting through the purchase of a ticket from the Foundation for Las Cruces Museums.
With a timed tasting ticket, attendees will receive four separate half-ounce tastes of Dry Point’s handcrafted spirits during a 25-minute session, tasting notes about the liquors, and a surprise party favor. Tickets for this tasting may be pre-purchased now from the Foundation’s website, as well as the night of the Moonlight program at the Branigan Cultural Center until 8 P.M. The tasting will take place at the Branigan Cultural Center starting at 5:30 P.M. and continue through until 8 P.M.
Entry to the Museums for this program is FREE and will only be possible through our Museum courtyard on North Main Street for the evening. This event is ONLY open to adults ages 21+ with a valid Government Issued ID required.

Do you have an interest in performing at Moonlight: Adult Night at the Museum?
We welcome applications from musicians, bands, DJs, KJs, drag performers, spoken word artists, dancers, and other live performers who create engaging experiences for our guests. Bands and group dancers are paid by performance and not by individual. Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis, and selected performers will be contacted as opportunities arise.
