Roadrunner Transit is proud to celebrate its 40th anniversary on April 21, 2026. Since beginning operations on April 21, 1986, Roadrunner Transit has provided reliable and accessible public transportation to the community, connecting residents to work, school, services, and recreation for four decades.

In honor of this milestone, Roadrunner Transit will also recognize April as Driver Appreciation Month. Throughout the month, the agency will highlight and celebrate the dedicated drivers who play a vital role in delivering safe, dependable service to passengers every day. These efforts will include spotlight features and recognition of drivers who exemplify outstanding service and commitment to the community.

Roadrunner Transit continues to evolve to meet the needs of the community and remains committed to providing safe, efficient, and customer-focused transportation services. The 40th anniversary marks an important opportunity to reflect on the system’s history while looking ahead to continued growth and innovation. Today, this includes Fixed Route bus service and Vamonos paratransit service, along with real-time route tracking available through the PassioGo and Via apps, making transit more accessible and convenient for all riders.

Roadrunner Transit, located at 300 W. Lohman Ave., operates Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The service is currently zero fare.
