Youth Indoor Volleyball Registration

The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department will be offering individual registrations for the Youth Indoor Volleyball league.

There will be three different age divisions offered to all genders, between the ages of 8 through 14. Fee for new participants is $50 per individual (with a jersey) or $40 for returning players (no jersey). Proof of age, or a Parks & Recreation Activity ID Card is required to register, along with proof of grade. League play will begin the week of May 26, 2026. Space is limited, and registration first comes, first served.

Online Registration
· Opens 9 a.m. Monday, April 13, 2026, until April 25, 2026 (or until online capacity is met).
· Complete registration at https://www.lascruces.gov/play.
· A current P&R Activity ID card is required to be on file at time of registration.
· Any sibling team-placement request must be pre-approved by Meerscheidt staff. Review “Team Placement” for details and restrictions.

In-Person Registration

· Opens 9 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2026, until April 25, 2026, 2 p.m. (or until division capacity is met).
· Located at the Meerscheidt Recreation Center, 1600 East Hadley Ave.
· Current P&R Activity ID card, or birth certificate is required to register.

Obtaining a Parks and Recreation Activity ID
· A parent or guardian, with participant, must appear in person at Meerscheidt Recreation Center to sign permission forms, show proof of age, and have the participant’s photo taken.
· ID Cards Form can be completed 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday – Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. ID cards cannot be issued on registration dates.
Team Placement 
· Formation of teams is under the discretion of Athletics staff, and participants will be required to play in their respective age division.
· Requesting placement onto specific teams or switching teams is not allowed.
· Siblings in the same household may be placed on the same team, but only if they qualify for the same age division, and the request was documented by Athletics staff during the registration process.
