The Las Cruces Police Department asks for anyone with information on a Monday, Dec. 30, 2024, shooting near Frenger Park, to please contact them.
Just before 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30, 2024, on the 1800 block of S. Espina, a call to report a shooting was made directing LCPD officers to respond to Frenger Park.
As a result of the shooting, a male teenager was taken to a Las Cruces hospital for treatment of his injury. He was transferred to El Paso and is in critical but stable condition.
At this time, no arrests have been made but the shooting remains under investigation. Any additional information to be shared with LCPD can be made by calling (575) 526-0795.
