The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department will offer Summer Swim Lessons from June 1 through July 17 at the East Mesa Pool and the Laabs Pool.

All swim lesson classes will be held Monday through Thursday, with eight classes offered per session.

Swim Lesson Sessions: 

  • Session 1: June 1 – June 11
  • Session 2: June 15 – June 25
  • Session 3: July 6 – July 16

Level 1: 3:30 – 4:00 p.m. and 4:15 – 4:45 p.m.

Level 2: 3:30 – 4:00 p.m. and 4:15 – 4:45 p.m.

Mommy & Me: 6:15 – 7:00 p.m.

The cost for each session is $45 per participant for Mommy & Me, Level 1, and Level 2 classes.

Registration for all swim lessons will take place at the Las Cruces Regional Aquatic Center from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2026.

Participants registering for Level 2 must provide either a Red Cross completion card or proof of successful completion of Level 1 swim lessons. Participants without proof of Level 1 completion will not be eligible to register for Level 2 classes.

Class space is limited and registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
