¡mira! Las Cruces kicks off its third year from 2-9:30 p.m. Saturday, April 26, in downtown Las Cruces. The festival is back – bigger and better – with all-new entertainment celebrating the city and the area’s culture, cuisine, art, outdoor recreation and music.

New this year, ¡mira! Las Cruces is bringing the wow factor with its first-ever drone show lighting up the night sky at 8:45 p.m. This year also brings the return of Lucha Libre with live luchador matches set up on Las Cruces Avenue featuring Magno, Divina, Aero and more.

The 2025 festival is headlined by DJ Johnny Kage, an El Paso-native with personal and professional ties to Las Cruces. Prior to his 8 p.m. set, mariachi Feminil Flores and cumbia group El Gozao will take the Robert V. Estrada main stage. Attendees can also partake in free dance lessons on the plaza at 6 p.m. and practice their new moves during El Gozao’s performance.

At the start of ¡mira!, the plaza comes alive with a dynamic lineup of talent, starting with youth performances, a jazz band, ballet folklorico and Danza Azteca. The Rio Grande Theatre will also host live music by The Vick Walker Band, Vybez and Proud Pete during the event.

“This year we want to showcase the different genres of music that represent Las Cruces and the region,” said Visit Las Cruces Executive Director Rochelle Miller-Hernandez. “We’re looking forward to elevating the festival with the performance of DJ Kage and new features such as the drone show and live luchador matches.”

Aside from live entertainment, plenty of activities and experiences will be available for all to enjoy. From the Farmers Market Experience and car show, to a public mural and kids zone — ¡mira! Las Cruces has something for everyone to enjoy.

As in previous years, security and law enforcement will be stationed throughout the event, reinforcing Visit Las Cruces’ ongoing commitment to providing a safe and enjoyable experience.

“Visit Las Cruces places safety and security above all else, and this year’s festivities are no exception,” Miller-Hernandez said. “¡mira! Las Cruces is designed with family fun in mind and we welcome everyone to experience the festivities and celebrate our beautiful community.”

Be advised, the City of Las Cruces will be shutting down Main Street from Griggs Avenue to Las Cruces Avenue starting at noon Friday, April 25. Main Street from the north roundabout to Bowman Avenue, as well as Las Cruces and Griggs avenues will shut down at 5 p.m. The Las Cruces Farmer’s and Crafts Market will move to Sunday, April 27. However, many vendors will attend ¡mira! Las Cruces for the expanded Farmer’s Market Experience.

Free parking will be available in the downtown area. This includes street parking and lots north and south of the plaza. Those east and west of the plaza are accessible along Church Street and Water Street. Please note that the parking lot on the southeast side of Main Street, directly behind the New America School will be closed on Thursday, April 25, at 10 p.m. through Saturday, April 26, for drone setup and launch. Additionally, the lot behind the Rio Grande Theatre will also be closed to the public.

Folding and camping chairs are permitted during the event as seating is limited. Well-behaved pets are welcome to attend so long as they remain leashed.
