Opened books on top of each other

Las Cruces Public Libraries hosts a monthly Romance Discussion Group the first Thursday of each month at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library.

The monthly Romance Discussion Group features a different topic each month. The next meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, 2024, at Branigan Memorial Library, 200 E. Picacho Ave.

The group encourages participants to read any book that fits the topic and go to the discussion ready to discuss. The group will discuss your favorite books from the topic, and whether you have a go-to author.

The December 5 topic is holiday romance movies. In January, the group will discuss urban/paranormal fantasy. In February, the topic will be mythological stories, and in March, the group will discuss classic romances.

All programs welcome participants in person and virtually. In person participants will meet in the Conference Room of the Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, 200 E. Picacho St. Links to the virtual programs will be in the Library Event Calendar.

Those who require special accommodation for a disability to participate should call the library at (575) 528-4102 at least 48 hours in advance.

For more information, contact Deanna Duffy, Librarian, at (575) 528-4005 or by email at [email protected].
