Road Work Ahead Sign

Las Cruces Streets Management will be applying a chip seal surface treatment on various city streets through Friday, Aug. 9, 2024.

Residents and businesses will be notified 24 hours prior to work beginning.

Crews ask that there be no parking of vehicles on these streets for the duration of the project:

  • Colorado Ave. from Solano Dr. to Smith Ave. Work will be done in City Council District # 3
  • Delta Dr. From Arizona Ave. to Nevada Ave. Work will be done in City Council District # 3
  • Lester Ave. from Nevada Ave. to Lester Ct. Work will be done in City Council District # 3
  • Utah Ave. from Solano Dr. to Luna St. Work will be done In City Council District # 3
  • Augustus Rd. from Butler St. to Bridger Ave. Work will be done in City Council District # 3
  • Hermosa St. from Hadley Ave. to May Ave. Work will be done in City Council District # 3 & 1
  • Lupton Pl. from Bridger Ave. to Augustus Rd. Work will be done in City Council District # 3
  • Lyon Pl. from Morgan Pl. to Macleod Rd. Work will be done in City Council District # 3
  • Morgan Pl. from Bridger Ave. to Macleod Rd. Work will be done in City Council District # 3
  • Fourth St. from Picacho Ave. to Parker Rd. Work will be done in City Council District # 4
  • Mimbres St. from Smith Ave. to Cul-De-Sac. Work will be done in City Council District # 3
  • Nevarez St. from Las Cruces Ave. to Griggs Ave. Work will be done in City Council District # 3 & 1
  • Rio Grande St. from Lees Dr. to Nevada Ave. Work will be done in City Council District # 3
  • Smith Ave. from Del Monte St. to Colorado Ave. Work will be done in City Council District # 3
  • Bridger Ave. from Butler to Triviz Dr. Work will be done in City Council District # 3
  • Buchanan Ave. Macleod Rd. to Butler St. Work will be done In City Council District # 3
  • Macleod Rd. from Sheryl Way to Buchanan Ave. Work will be done in City Council District # 3
  • Butler St. from Griggs Ave. to Buchanan Ave. Work will be done in City Council District # 3
  • Sheryl Way from Macleod Rd to Hadley Ave. Work will be done in City Council District # 3
  • Delano Dr. from Hillrise Dr. to Missouri Ave. Work will be done in City Council District # 3

For the public’s convenience, crews will work from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Friday, Aug. 9, 2024. Access to residences and businesses will be maintained with periodic closures during the construction period. Motorist are urged to use caution through this area or use alternate routes.

RoadRunner Transit routes will not be affected. The City has verified that no conflicting public or private construction projects will take place in the immediate area during this time.
