Popcorn and movie glasses

Las Cruces Public Libraries is hosting a First Saturday Movie Marathon featuring three Madea family-oriented films in advance of the holiday season.

Three Tyler Perry “Madea” films will be shown on Saturday, Nov 2, 2024, in the Kiva Room at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, 200 E. Picacho Ave on Roadrunner Transit Route 1.

The movie marathon begins at 10:30 a.m. with a family reunion. The second movie, which begins at 12:30 p.m., involves a storyline with someone hiding from the mob. The movie marathon concludes with a Christmas movie that begins showing at 2:45 p.m. All three movies are rated PG-13.

As always, the movie marathon is free and open to the public. Patrons are welcome to bring light snacks. For movie titles, see the Public Libraries online calendar.

Movie-goers who require accommodation for a disability are encouraged to call the library at (575) 528-4102 at least 48 hours in advance.

For more information contact Deanna Duffy, Librarian, at (575) 528-4005 or by email at [email protected].
