A structure fire damaged a home on the 4000 block of Victorian Red Place early Monday morning.
Just before 2 a.m., Monday, Aug. 4, 2025, Las Cruces firefighters responded to a reported structure fire on Victorian Red Place.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire on the back porch of the residence. The first-arriving engine company initiated fire attack, deploying a hose line and quickly knocked down the fire. The fire was brought under control within ten minutes.
Firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to the interior of the home and minimized further property damage. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
