A structure fire damaged an apartment complex on Majestic Ridge early Saturday morning.
Just after 1:15 a.m., Saturday, July 5, 2025, Las Cruces firefighters responded to a reported smoke smell on the 3000 block of Majestic Ridge. First-arriving crews discovered a working structure fire in a third-floor apartment unit. The engine company initiated an aggressive interior attack. The fire was under control within 20 minutes. Firefighters were able to minimize property damage by quickly preventing it from spreading to adjacent apartment units.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Damage estimates have yet to be determined.
