Community Outreach Tackles Quality of Life Issues Thursday

The Las Cruces Police Department’s Community Outreach unit will be addressing quality-of-life issues during a citywide project to be held Thursday, April 10, 2025.

Community Outreach will be working with Las Cruces businesses to ease or help eradicate some of the problems they may be experiencing. Some of the issues include vandalism, trespassing, squatting, soliciting, aggressive panhandling, criminal damage to property and abandoned shopping carts to name a few.

Business owners or managers who are experiencing any of these problems – or other issues that could benefit from some attention – are encouraged to email the Community Outreach unit at [email protected]. Owners or managers can also comment their requests on LCPD’s Facebook page before 9 a.m. Thursday, April 10.
