The City of Las Cruces announces that the Communications Office and Visit Las Cruces have earned several video awards spanning a multitude of categories in the 47th Annual Telly Awards. The Telly Awards honors excellence in video and television across all screens and is judged by leaders from video platforms, television, streaming networks, and production companies.

The City of Las Cruces received a total of eighteen awards; 2 Gold, 8 Silver and 8 Bronze. Judges evaluate entries to recognize distinction in creative work and do not put entries against each other. Winning entries are placed into performance scales of Gold, Silver or Bronze based on combined scoring from judges. Top honors may be awarded to more than one entry in a particular category.

Technical Operations Manager Adrian Guzman, Media Production Specialist Nathaniel Bitting, Digital Content Specialist Cherish Pena, Media Production Interns Celso Acosta and Eduardo Sandoval worked with multiple City departments to create content across multiple categories. Visit Las Cruces Marketing Manager Lorena Lozano and her team created tourism focused content that was recognized.
