
Triple-digit temperatures are forecast for Las Cruces beginning Saturday, June 20th prompting City of Las Cruces Cooling Stations to open. Cooling station are expected to be open from Saturday, June 20 through at least Thursday, June 25, 2026 to offer relief for residents seeking to escape the heat.
A cooling station is a place that offers temporary shelter from the heat for older adults, high-risk residents, and the public. Residents are encouraged to call cooling stations in advance to verify hours of operation.
