The City of Las Cruces Quality of Life Department/Public Art and the City Art Board are looking for artists to exhibit at the Art Stop 2027 rotating bus shelter art exhibit.
Art Stop is a public art program that places art along the city bus routes. Twelve original artworks, one per artist, will be selected, printed, and placed on bus shelters in each City Council district of the city.
The theme for Art Stop 2027 is “More Than a Tumbleweed.” Artists can find more information and submit their art for consideration by going to LasCruces.gov/ArtStopCall. Art Stop is open to artists living in Las Cruces, Doña Ana County and the surrounding area. The deadline to apply is midnight September 14, 2026.
