Quality of Life Department/Public Art and The City Art Board announces the winning selections of the Art Stop 2025 Bus Shelter Art Exhibit.

Winning artworks and the locations where the artwork will be exhibited are as follows:

“Ocotillo” 
Coy Lowther, artist
The artwork will be exhibited at the bus shelter at Water Street and Griggs Avenue, by the former El Paso Electric Co. parking lot.

“Take a Walk”
Yalet Yanar, artist
The artwork will be exhibited at the bus shelter at corner University Avenue and Jordan Road, across from the New Mexico State University Bookstore.

“Dreamcatcher”
Keena Wolff, artist
The artwork will be exhibited at the bus shelter at the corner of Walnut Street and Lohman Avenue.

“Second Sight”
Citlali Delgado, artist
The artwork will be exhibited at the bus shelter at Valley Drive and Hadley Avenue, near Save Mart store.

“NM Gnome”
Jose Saldivar, artist
The artwork will be exhibited at the bus shelter at Del Rey Boulevard and Mars Avenue, near the Veterans Administration clinic.

“Gambels Quail”
Josh Grant, artist
The artwork will be exhibited at the bus shelter at Lohman Avenue near Mountain View.

“Art Stop” is a public art program that places art along city bus routes. Original artworks were selected by a jury from admissions collected through a call for artists. The artwork will be installed in one of six pre-selected bus shelters in each City Council district by early February. The artwork will remain in place for approximately 12 months.
