Brad Weems Appointed Airport Director for City of Las Cruces

The City of Las Cruces announces the selection of Brad Weems as Airport Director.

Weems brings more than 20 years of experience in airport management and operations. He previously served as Airport Operations Duty Manager at Washington Dulles International Airport, where he most recently spearheaded the management of major infrastructure initiatives such as terminal construction and runway rehabilitation projects. Weems also brings extensive expertise in FAA regulatory compliance, airport safety, security, day-to-day operations, and community stakeholder relations.

He is a Certified Member (C.M.) of the American Association Airport Executives (AAAE), private pilot, and a Licensed Aircraft Dispatcher.  Weems holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Houston and is dedicated in promoting airport development to foster economic growth for the region.
