The Branigan Cultural Center is pleased to announce this year’s annual All-City High School Art Show, with an opening reception scheduled for Friday, March 6, from 5 – 7 p.m.

The programs also include an awards ceremony starting at 5:30 p.m. Sixty-six students from local Las Cruces High Schools, including selected home-schooled students, will be participating in this year’s show. The All-City High School Art Show will be on view from March 6 through April 18, 2026.

Senior and Junior students from Mayfield, Las Cruces, Organ Mountain, Centennial, Alma d’Arte, and Rio Grande Prep High Schools, along with participating home-schooled students, will offer viewers a wide range of 2-D and 3-D art, from ceramics to mixed media as well as paintings, drawings, and digital artwork. Students were required to apply for consideration, and artwork was selected based on quality, creativity, and artistic excellence. This unique grouping of artwork highlights the progress and development students have made throughout their high school years and demonstrates the creativity of these exciting emerging artists.

Artwork will be juried, and prizes will be awarded in three competing categories, with one piece named Best of Show. Prizes are funded by the Foundation for Las Cruces Museums and the Potters Guild of Las Cruces.

The Branigan Cultural Center is located at 501 N. Main St. and is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. There is no admission charge. The museum is accessible from Roadrunner Transit Route 1 Stop 1.
