A librarian will introduce a book on the subject and group members are invited to introduce a book for discussion that they have read. Participants can join having read no book at all, just a curiosity for the topic.

The Banned Book Club meets the last Thursday of the month at 12:30. The selection for the month of February, in celebration of Black History Month, is Beloved by Toni Morrison. Beloved is a mysterious, 20-year-old woman —who appears in Sethe’s home mysteriously just as the infant ghost haunting the family disappears.

Banned Books on FILM – Lolita
