One in four individuals have a sensory need or an invisible disability.   These are individuals with PTSD, autism, dementia, strokes just to name a few.   Our Las Cruces Museums have backpacks available at all of our front desks that can be checked out to help patrons with sensory needs.

Step into the Branigan Cultural Center and pick up a "Museum Cat-Alog" with our museum's friendly feline, Mr. Nero.   This little book has you walking through the galleries looking for clues that the exhibits have in store.   A fun adventure awaits at the museum!This is for Grades 1-5 with Adult Caregiver.

Come to any of the four Las Cruces Museums to check out a backpack for elementary age kids to explore the museums from a new perspective!  Filled with games, activities, information and crafts, you'll take your learning to the next level. Backpacks are for grades K-5 with Adult Caregiver.
