Streets Management will be applying chip seal surface treatment on various city streets beginning Monday, September 21, 2026, and continuing through Friday, September 25, 2026, with completion expected in five days. Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and residents and businesses will be notified 24 hours in advance. Streets affected include Venus Street from Bataan West to the end of the pavement, Jupiter Street from Venus Street to Mars Avenue, and Sunridge Road from Neptune Drive to Highridge Street, all within City Council District 5. Access to residences and businesses will be maintained, though periodic closures will occur. Motorists are urged to use caution or select alternate routes. Roadrunner Transit will not be affected, and the City has confirmed that no conflicting construction projects will occur during this period.
