Historic Preservation Committee

The Historic Preservation Committee was created by the City Council upon the adoption of the Historic Preservation Ordinance. The Historic Preservation Committee meets every third Wednesday of every month unless rescheduled due to for an observed holiday or the meeting gets rescheduled.
Planning and Zoning Commission

- Case No. 26CS0500043: A request for approval of a preliminary plat known as Crown Dancer Subdivision. The proposed subdivision encompasses approximately 9.84 acres, is zoned NH-3.S (Neighborhood-1 Suburban) and located at 2016 & 2018 N. Valley Drive. The preliminary plat proposes to subdivide two (2) existing tracts of land into 37 new residential lots and four (4) tracts of land to be utilized for drainage and mailbox clusters. Submitted by Pillar Engineering LLC., representative, on behalf of North Valley Development LTD., and James C. & Marylin Bagwell, property owners. Council District 4.
- Case No. 25CS0500074: A request for approval of a preliminary plat known as Lot 1 of Pueblo de Las Alamedas Subdivision, Replat No. 2. The proposed preliminary plat encompasses approximately 7.68 acres, is zoned CR.S (Commercial Retail Suburban), and is located at 3395 Rinconada Boulevard which is generally south of Bataan Memorial East, west of Rinconada Boulevard, and north of Northrise Drive. The subdivision proposes to subdivide the remnant portion of Lot 1 into seven (7) commercial lots and two (2) tracts for future right-of-way use and land development. The subdivision will be a single-phase development that requires no master plan. Submitted by Precision Land Surveyors NM on behalf of Red Shamrock 25, LLC., property owner. Council District 6.
- Case No. 26ZO1000034: A request for approval of a Special Use Permit (SUP) to allow a cannabis-based business (dispensary) within the NH-3.U.MX (Neighborhood-3 Urban Mixed-Use Corridor Overlay Zone) zoning district. The subject property encompasses approximately 0.42 acres in size and is located at 1114 E. Lohman Avenue. Submitted by Amir Ali, owner Green Buddah, LLC, on behalf of LCD Enterprise, property owner. Council District 3.
The Planning and Zoning Commission is created by the City Council with the adoption of the Zoning Code. The Planning and Zoning Commission shall review the planning, zoning and platting of the City. The Planning and Zoning Commission meets every fourth Tuesday of every month unless rescheduled due to a holiday, or at the request of the Commission.
