City Hall with Flags in front

The City of Las Cruces invites all Neighborhood Associations and Neighborhood Watches to attend an important meeting from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2025. This meeting will provide an opportunity for neighborhood leaders to learn about the benefits and process of officially registering their associations with the City of Las Cruces. The meeting will be held at Las Cruces City Hall in the Council Chambers at 700 N. Main Street.

Representatives from the City will guide attendees through the registration process, answer questions, and provide valuable information about the benefits that come with being officially recognized by the City.

Benefits of Registering with the City of Las Cruces:

  • Increased Communication: Neighborhood Associations and Neighborhood Watches registered with the City will receive regular updates on relevant City projects, events, and programs, allowing for better communication between neighborhoods and local government.
  • Access to Resources: Registered groups may access City resources, including grants and support for neighborhood improvement projects, events, and safety initiatives.
  • Improved Community Engagement: Joining the City’s network helps foster stronger partnerships between neighborhoods and local leaders, leading to enhanced collaboration and community pride.
  • Recognition and Support: Registrations helps ensure that Neighborhood Associations and Watches are officially recognized, enhancing their visibility and access to City-sponsored programs and initiatives.

For more Information, contact Catrina Godinez, Community Engagement Manager, at 575/528-3003 or by email at cgodinez@lascruces.gov.

This meeting is a valuable opportunity for Neighborhood Associations and Neighborhood Watches to become better connected with City government and leverage available resources for their neighborhoods.
