The Las Cruces Parks and Recreation Department will offer free all-day programming from March 10-21, 2025, during the school spring intersession.

Spring camp is available to students in grades 6 to 12. The camp will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday at Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center, 304 W. Bell Ave.

Programming will take place in a safe and supportive environment including academic assistance, a nutritional program in partnership with Families and Youth Inc., a variety of recreational and creative activities, guest speakers, and enrichment opportunities suitable for different age groups. Joint programming with Borderlands Family Ties will take place March 17-21 and include courses for coding skills and Zeen creation.

Parents or guardians are responsible for dropping off and picking up children from the program. Registration is ongoing and available online at lascruces.gov/teens. Spots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registration is also available at the following locations during regular business hours.
· Parks and Recreation Administration Office, 1501 E. Hadley Ave., 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday.
· Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center, 304 W. Bell Ave., 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday.
· A. Fielder Memorial Safe Haven, 906 N. Tornillo St., noon to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.
