Ideal Option Deflection and Intensive Case Management
Ideal Option was awarded $1,119,153 for a deflection and intensive case management program. The program employs a team of three case managers and a supervisor to provide 24/7 coverage responding alongside and in the field with Las Cruces Police Department. The goal is to intercept individuals pre-arrest or at the time of crisis, offer immediate support, and provide warm handoffs to treatment and resources they need. Beyond this initial interaction, participants receive ongoing, intensive case management for as long as needed to support stabilization and recovery.
