Banned Books on FILM is a film series that screens the film version of banned books. The book club selection for the month of August is Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. A young man joins a traveling circus during the Great Depression and falls in love with the star performer, but their romance is threatened by the dark secrets of the circus.
Join us for weekly shared reading, bring something to read aloud to the group. This could be a book excerpt, an article a letter from a friend, you name it. We discuss a designated book on the first monday of each month.
