The Banned Book Club meets the last Thursday of the month at 12:00. The Banned Books Club celebrates Black History Month by reading The Nickel Boys by Colson Whitehead, winner of the 2020 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. The Nickel Boys is set at a fictionalized version of the Dozier School for Boys, dubbed Nickel Academy.

Space is limited, and this is on a walk-in, first come, first serve basis. Teens, join the Thomas Branigan Memorial Library for Dungeons and Dragons! Make some new friends and go on exciting adventures, while playing Dungeons and Dragons at your Library! Whether it's your first time playing a role playing game or you're a seasoned adventurer, we invite all teens to participate! Ages 13-18.
Film making for adults and teens. The goal is to support, encourage, and assist each other with all aspects of film making. Bring what you're working on. Meets 2nd and 4th Thursdays.
Registration starts at 8:00 AM, Games start at 9:00 AM. $3 per person. Limited to 16 participants.

Game Day Pop Up Program
Participants must be 18 years of age and are required to check in at the front desk upon arrival. Participation is first come, first served. Explore the 3. 5-billion-year-odyssey of life with a geologist and real fossil specimens. Visit the station in the gallery and discover something new in the fossil record each month. All ages are welcome. The program is free and no registration is required.

Design Guidelines Draft Review The Historic Preservation Committee will host a work session focused on reviewing and discussing the draft Design Guidelines for historic preservation in Las Cruces. The Design Guidelines aim to support the preservation and continued use of historic buildings while reflecting the needs of today’s community.
