Join us for a fun-filled experience where kids can learn letters, numbers, colors, and shapes through transportation-themed stories and activities, with adult participation encouraged. For the month of August our theme will be: Emotional Expression, Grief, & Safety Awareness.
Learn how to document your days, thoughts, feelings, and ideas using simple and creative techniques that go beyond the standard written journal. Expand your outlook on the way you see life by expressing yourself on the page. For ages 18 and up.

Join Las Cruces Ukes for free group ukulele lessons for children 8 and up. Space is limited, and the first eight students who register can partake based on ukulele availability. This series begins on June 5, and ends on August 21.

Participants must be 18 years of age and are required to check in at the front desk upon arrival. Participation is first come, first served. Friends of TBML Pop-Up Book Sale
Come to the Railroad Depot to explore the deep history and fascinating science of railroads and transportation in general. We will have repeated mini-lectures and hands-on activities. Please note that this program now starts at 11am. Ages 18+.
Get creative and messy by painting your troubles away. We supply the 8x10 canvases, paint and brushes, you supply the vision and talent! Registration is required for this program, but it is open to all ages. This might be a little messy, so please keep that in mind when choosing your clothes for the afternoon.
Banned Books on FILM is a film series that screens the film version of banned books. The book club selection for the month of August is Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. A young man joins a traveling circus during the Great Depression and falls in love with the star performer, but their romance is threatened by the dark secrets of the circus.
