Historic Preservation Committee Meeting

The City of Las Cruces Historic Preservation Committee will hold its monthly meeting beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.
The meeting is open to members of the public and will be held in Council Chambers at City Hall, 700 N. Main Street.
Nominations for the City of Las Cruces Register of Cultural Properties will be discussed. The 2026 nominations are for the Rio Grande Theatre, Branigan Cultural Center, Railroad Museum, Clara Belle Williams Property, and Phillips Chapel.
Attendees will also learn about historic preservation activities around the community for Historic Preservation Month.
