During the City of Las Cruces Open Enrollment period, Jenna Torres-Hanway, Benefits Coordinator, demonstrated true cariño through her dedication, compassion, and commitment to serving employees. During one of the busiest times of the year, Jenna made it a priority to personally meet with every employee who requested assistance to help them better understand their benefit options and make informed decisions for themselves and their families.
Jenna consistently went above and beyond by working outside of regular business hours to ensure employees received timely responses and support. Her patience, professionalism, and willingness to help created a welcoming and reassuring experience for staff navigating the enrollment process.
What truly stood out was Jenna’s appreciation for teamwork. Even while managing a high volume of requests, she made time to recognize and thank her fellow team members who stepped in to assist during the influx. Her kindness and gratitude helped foster a positive and supportive environment for everyone involved.
