Beginning Monday, September 28, 2026, and continuing through Friday, October 11, 2026, intermittent lane closures will be in place on Alameda Boulevard between W. Las Cruces Avenue and E. Amador Avenue, as well as on W. Griggs Avenue between S. Reymond Street and S. Water Street. H & H Underground will be performing underground utility work as part of a wire utility permit. The closures may impact Roadrunner Transit Route 5, and access to nearby businesses will be maintained throughout the project. Motorists are urged to follow all posted signs. The work is taking place within City Council Districts 1 and 4, and the City has verified that no conflicting construction projects will occur during this time.
