Cariño to Utilities Crew

Ken Needham here, a voice from the distant past. I live on Calle de Vista. We began experiencing low water pressure, so I called dispatch and they sent out serviceman Mario Jacquez. He checked the pressure and found it was low and said he would check around; He called me back and left a message that there was a leak in the alley behind my house. This was yesterday. The on-call water crew showed up and repaired it.  The members include; Roberto Calderon, Crew Leader; Eloy Gonzales, HEO – Water; Kalub Mancell, Water Worker II; Manuel Trujillo, Water Worker II; and Mario Jacquez, H2O Service Technician.

It was a BIG job. It took them many hours to get it done. They worked hard in muddy, wet conditions. I was very impressed with the equipment they had and the way they worked together as a team. They treated each other with respect and despite the difficult circumstances kept their sense of humor. It made me proud to be a LC Utilities retiree. Thank you and the Department for a job well done and a satisfied customer.
