Historic Preservation Committee Meeting (August 2026)

The City of Las Cruces Historic Preservation Committee will hold its monthly meeting beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.
The meeting is open to members of the public and will be held in Council Chambers at City Hall, 700 N. Main Street.
Discussion items for this month include the proposed federal regulatory changes to the National Historic Preservation Act and how local preservation efforts may be impacted.
Attendees will also learn about design review and opportunities for involvement in preservation activities around the community.
