DJ Johnny Kage

Popular regional talent DJ Johnny Kage is set to headline the third annual ¡mira! Las Cruces scheduled for 2-9:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2025. The spring festival returns to showcase and celebrate the city and surrounding area’s culture, cuisine, art, outdoor recreation and music.

DJ Johnny Kage is an El Paso, TX native with family ties to Las Cruces, and a prominent figure in region’s radio industry for more than 25 years. Locally, he’s recognized for hosting the popular radio show “Morning Mash” on 104.3 HIT FM which airs across El Paso, TX, Las Cruces, NM and Juarez, Mexico. Kage is also well-known for DJing on the SiriusXM station, “Pitbull’s Globalization,” and for being one of Pitbull’s touring DJs. During ¡mira!, Kage will be performing music popular to the region.

“We are excited to showcase the multiple genres of music that capture the spirit of Las Cruces and the region at this year’s ¡mira! event,” Visit Las Cruces Executive Director Rochelle Miller said. “DJ Johnny Kage is the perfect performer to pull it off. We are also taking the festival to new heights with a drone show that tells the story of our community.”

New to ¡mira! will be a drone show set take over the skies of downtown Las Cruces. Lucha Libre returns this year, this time with live performances. Other talent taking center stage includes ballet folklorico, mariachis, dance performances, a grupo norteño, and dance lessons on the Plaza. Entertainment begins at 2 p.m. and will continue throughout the night. Activities and entertainment lineup are subject to change.

The City of Las Cruces will be shutting down Main Street, Friday, April 25, 2025, at 5 p.m. from the north roundabout to Bowman Avenue, and Las Cruces and Griggs avenues. The Las Cruces Farmer’s and Crafts Market will move to Sunday, April 27, 2025; however, many vendors will attend ¡mira! Las Cruces for the expanded “Farmer’s Market Experience” lining Main Street.

Vendors interested in applying must have a local/regional product or service to qualify. Fees may apply. The deadline for vendor applications is 5 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2025.
