Plant in a pot.

Thomas Branigan Memorial Library is hosting its Spring Gardening Workshop on March 15, 2025.

The Spring Gardening Workshop is from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at Branigan Memorial Library, 200 E. Picacho Ave.

Participants will learn about seed saving, practice making newspaper pots and make their own seed balls to spread native flowers with ease. They will also be introduced to the Seed Library and learn how to jumpstart their Spring garden with the library’s selection of gardening books.

Craft activities are planned for all ages along with presentations and booths organized by our community gardening partners.

The Spring Gardening Workshop will take place outdoors, weather permitting, and in the Children’s Craft Room and the Roadrunner Room at Branigan Memorial Library.

Registration for the workshop is available online.

For more information contact Phoebe Guskey, library assistant, at (575) 528-3406 or by email at pyoder@lascruces.gov.

Those who require accommodations for a disability to participate in this event are encouraged to call the library at (575) 528-4102, TTY 711, at least 48 hours in advance.
