Registration for the Las Cruces Parks and Recreation Department’s Lil’ Sluggers T-ball and coach-pitch youth baseball league, for children ages 4-10, will begin Thursday, March 27.

The Lil’ Sluggers and coach-pitch youth baseball league is open to all genders. Online registration for individual participants begins at 9 a.m. Thursday, March 27, 2025, until online capacity is met.

In-person registration will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 29, at Meerscheidt Recreation Center, 1600 E. Hadley Ave. Space is limited, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

The participation fee is $50 per new player and includes a jersey. For returning players, the fee is $40 and does not include a jersey. Proof of age or a Parks and Recreation Activity Identification Card is required at the time of registration.

League games begin the week of May 12, 2025, and will be held at the Ron Galla T-ball Complex, 1653 E. Hadley Ave.

Obtaining a Parks and Recreation Activity ID Card before registration is required. A parent or guardian, along with the child, must appear in person at Meerscheidt Recreation Center to fill out the permission form, provide proof of age with a birth certificate, and have the child’s photo taken. Activity ID cards can be obtained from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. Cards will not be issued on registration dates.
