City Hall

Have you ever wondered how the City’s traffic lights are controlled; who takes care of the City’s ballfields; or who organizes City Council meetings? Here’s your chance to find answers to these questions!

The City of Las Cruces invites residents ages 18 and over to join the 2025 Neighborhood Leadership Academy. This 12-week course provides a behind-the-scenes look at how the City operates.

There is still time to register. Registration runs through December 27, 2024. Academy Dates run from January 8 to April 2, 2025. A graduation brunch will take place on April 7, 2025, and a recognition ceremony will immediately follow during the City Council meeting.

Classes take place from 6 – 8 p.m. every Wednesday night during the academy dates at various City locations. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about your community!

For registration information please contact Catrina Godinez at (575) 528-3003 or by email at cgodinez@lascruces.gov.
