Las Cruces Animal Control offers the free use of live animal traps to City residents. The traps can be used for the removal of nuisance stray animals that invade your private property. Las Cruces Animal Control will remove any animal that is trapped at no charge.
Types of Traps Available
- Cat Trap – for Stray Cats
- Dog Traps – for Stray Dogs
Traps are issued every Thursday to use one week at a time. Traps are available for pick up at the East Mesa Public Safety Complex, 550 N. Sonoma Ranch Blvd., between 8 a.m. and noon, and 1-5 p.m. If you would like information on the live trap program, call (575) 528-4100 or email Gino Jimenez or Animal Control.
