Road Closure – Madrid Ave. (Triviz Dr. to Evelyn St.) | March 31 – Approx. September, 2025

Madrid Avenue Extension Road Closure

Las Cruces motorists are advised that Madrid Ave. between Triviz Drive and Evelyn Street will be closed to thru traffic, beginning March 31, 2025. The closure will last for approximately 4 months in duration. A detour will be in place directing traffic around the work zone.  

Access to residences and businesses will be maintained during the closure. Motoristsare urged to follow all posted signs. The work and closure will not affect RoadrunnerTransit or transit stops.

Morrow Enterprises, Inc., will be completing utility and roadway work on Madrid Avenue. This work will be done in City Council District 1.
