About Us – Quality of Life

The Quality of Life Department is dedicated to enriching the lives of Las Cruces residents by providing engaging, educational, and accessible programs and services. Through a variety of cultural, artistic, and recreational opportunities, we strive to foster a vibrant and connected community.

Our Divisions:

Las Cruces Public Libraries – A hub for learning and discovery, offering resources, programs, and services for all ages, including books, digital media, research assistance, and community events.

Las Cruces Museums – Bringing history, art, culture, and science to life through exhibitions, interactive experiences, and educational programs at our four museums: the Branigan Cultural Center, Museum of Art, Museum of Nature & Science, and the Railroad Museum.

Las Cruces Public Art – Enhancing the city’s cultural landscape through public art installations, murals, and creative projects that celebrate local talent and reflect the community’s diverse identity.

Las Cruces Senior Programs – Providing a welcoming space for older adults to stay active, engaged, and connected through wellness programs, social activities, meals, and supportive services.

Together, we are committed to making Las Cruces a place where people of all ages can thrive, learn, and be inspired.
