Youth Programs

The City of Las Cruces is committed to providing a wide range of youth programs designed to foster development, learning, and fun for children and teens in our community. Our programs include adaptive sports and recreation for youth with and without disabilities, ensuring everyone can enjoy leisure activities that enhance their physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and artistic abilities. Our after-school programs offer a safe, affordable, and nurturing environment where children can develop their academic, physical, and social skills during the regular school year.

We also offer a variety of aquatic programs at our indoor and outdoor pools, including swim lessons and special events. Our general recreation programs include sports, teen activities, and art programs, catering to a broad spectrum of interests. During the summer, our Out of School Time (OST) programs provide structured and engaging opportunities that support youth academic success and overall development. Our Youth Services section works in partnership with families and communities to ensure that our programs keep children safe, healthy, and successful in school and life.
