Requesting a Tour

Discover the rich offerings of the Las Cruces Museums with a tailored tour experience for your group. Our tours connect students with their community through engaging exploration of art, culture, history, and science.

How to Request a Tour:

  • Advance Notice: Tours must be requested at least two (2) weeks in advance. All scheduling is based on availability, so please have several dates and times in mind. Note that galleries may be closed during exhibition installations, which could affect availability.
  • Tour Details: Tours require a minimum of 30 minutes per museum. For larger groups, we will split into smaller groups of 20-25 for a better experience. Ensure proper adult supervision: one adult for every ten middle/high school students and one adult for every eight pre-school/elementary school students. Teachers and chaperones must remain with their groups throughout the tour.
  • Museums: The downtown museums include the Museum of Nature and Science, Museum of Art, and Branigan Cultural Center. Depending on availability, a traveling display from the Railroad Museum may be arranged. Separate tours for the Railroad Museum can also be requested.
