Las Cruces Parks and Recreation is offering a three-day Thanksgiving week camp that will provide enjoyable and dynamic indoor and outdoor activities, arts and crafts, and games for kids from kindergarten through fifth grade.

The camp will be held at Meerscheidt Recreation Center, 1600 E. Hadley Ave. Camp hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, to Wednesday, Nov. 27. The fee is $20 per child due at the time of registration.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Children are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle along with a pillow and blanket for rest time.

Registration for the three-day camp begins Friday, Nov. 15, and will be open until all available spaces are filled. Registration can be completed online or during regular business hours at:

  • Parks and Recreation Department Administrative office, 1501 E. Hadley Ave., 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday.
  • Meerscheidt Recreation Center, 1600 E. Hadley Ave., 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
  • Las Cruces Regional Aquatic Center, 1401 E. Hadley Ave., 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
  • Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center, 304 W. Bell Ave., 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.
