Apprenticeship Program

In partnership with The Southern New Mexico Independent Electrical Contractors  

What We Offer:
· Comprehensive training through IEC’s federally recognized apprenticeship program.
· A minimum of 720 hours of classroom instruction combined with 8,000 documented on-the-job training hours with top electrical contracting companies.

Our Commitment to Success:
· Offering a 4-year apprenticeship and training program that meets national standards and exceeds expectations.
· Upskilling opportunities for Licensed Journeypersons seeking additional training to enhance their expertise.

Our Legacy of Excellence:
· Proudly serving our community for over 35 years as a 505-c-6 non-profit organization.
· As one of 50 chapters nationwide, IEC of Southern New Mexico is dedicated to growth and progress in the City of Las Cruces.

DACC’S Workforce Development and Career Readiness (WDCR) program provides opportunities for short-term, non-credit training programs, professional skill development, lifelong learning, and career exploration to the community of Las Cruces and southern Doña Ana County.  Community organizations, governmental offices, and local businesses and industries use the training services of WDCR to provide customized education opportunities for their employees.

Elevating Quality Childcare:
· Early Childhood Services encourages providers to achieve higher standards of quality through the FOCUS Tiered Quality Star Rating and Improvement System.
· By attaining the status of Licensed Three Star Homes, providers enhance the quality of care, elevate their educational qualifications, and bolster much-needed capacity for our children and families.
