Two police officers sitting at a table

The Las Cruces Police Department’s next Bridging the Badge livestream, scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 24, will focus on Operation Not in Vain, a months-long multi-agency project that’s targeting violent and property crimes, persons with outstanding warrants, repeat offenders, traffic enforcement and quality of life crimes.

LCPD Deputy Chief Eric Urenda will be the guest speaker during the livestream that begins at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2024. Bridging the Badge will be livestreamed on the Las Cruces Police Department’s Facebook page and on the City of Las Cruces’ YouTube channel.

Those who wish to ask the deputy chief a question on the topic can do so with a comment on this post on LCPD’s Instagram or Facebook page.

LCPD’s Bridging the Badge programs, held monthly, are intended to promote understanding, collaboration, and informed dialogue on topics important to residents of Las Cruces.

Each livestream is anticipated to last about one hour. An open and respectful dialogue is encouraged during each program. Bridging the Badge livestreams are held the last Tuesday of each month.
