A new Theater program for children ages 6 to 14, and interested caregivers. We'll practice reading short plays aloud right from our chairs. With no sets, props or costumes, we'll use our voices, facial expressions and imaginations to tell a story, and perform our plays for friends and family.

Studies show English as Second Language students showed a 17% improvement in comprehension through the use of subtitles (Birulés-Muntané, S. Soto-Faraco, 2016). To aid our ESL community, we will be hosting ESL Film Club to view Latine-X authored plays that were made into films in the English language, with Spanish subtitles.

The Thomas Branigan Memorial Library invites you to join us for the Branigan Chess Club! Join other chess aficionados and beginners as we meet weekly to learn, play and enjoy chess with Mr. Manny. Sessions will be held in the Children's Craft Room each Sunday at 1 PM.

Computer Literacy Classes topics vary each session. In this class we will discuss how to navigate on the iPad and how to use some of the apps. Students will learn how to create bookmarks in Safari and how to use it as an e-reader. iPads will not be provided so students should bring their own devices ready to use.
Shared reading group and Book of the Month Club at Sage Cafe Library. Optional reading out loud, bring an article that interests you or a book you have enjoyed. Group meets every Monday for shared reading with the last Monday of the month reserved to chat about the book of the month.
